Social Southern Table & Bar

Had Sunday brunch and celebrated my birthday with 4 of my favorite girls. We ordered the B.E.E. (A great go to for simple and reasonably priced). The pancake is huge, (covers the entire dinner plate). The sweet potato biscuits were really good, with the butter and pepper jelly. We also had the steak and eggs. The hash browns and fried green tomatoes were delicious. Our server, Hanny, was great. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best experience and definitely acknowledged my special day!

One of our favorite places when visiting Lafayette. Attractive decor, friendly staff and great waiters. Food is consistently good.

Food was delicious. Must try the Krab Nachos. Mint Julep was perfect. Will definitely be back.

The atmosphere was great. Cozy and comfy dinning establishment. Bar areas was nice. Great vibe. The shrimp and grits were great. Our waitress was top notch. I can't say enough about this place.

The sweet potato biscuits are awesome! The Fried green tomatoes were really good but Beware!....they literally just came out of the frier & are super hot when they arrive at table. The shrimp & grits gravy is VERY salty. Overall nice experience & will return.

Great southern food and whiskey bar. It's a group favorite when we visit Lafayette. They don't have large tables but the team did a great job to seat us in the long bar tables and that accommodated us. One in our group said it was the best meal they have ever had!

The food was delicious and the attention to the customer was a wonderful experience! We will be back. We are from Alexandria, LA, the person we visited recommended your place, when we asked about a nice place to eat. My husband and I highly recommend Social Southern Table.

Met up with some friends and had a fantastic time. Service is always fast, courteous, and professional. Food was fabulous and portions are always generous.

Always a delightful experience. Sweet potato biscuits a must, and really anything else from the menu that sounds halfway interesting will be worth it. The barrel aged sazerac if you like that type of beverage, I recommend.

Mouthwatering dishes and bold Southern flavor. Social Southern Table and Bar delivers big time. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

My husband and I went out to social for our anniversary. We had the sweet potato biscuits for an appetizer. They were so good. I had the Socialite drink. It was very good. I have a second one. His drink was when pigs fly. He liked that as well. We both had the hanger steak and fritters. My husband's steak was great. Mine had good flavor but it was a bad cut of meat. It had thick fat/grizzle running through it. It was very chewy and I tried to eat around it but it was too much. I finally told the waitress that I didn't like my steak. She brought it back to the kitchen. They offered to make me another one but I was done with steak after that. The manager comped my steak and gave us a free dessert. It was a nice restaurant and they took care of us.

This place is seriously amazing. Food is exceptional, drinks are amazing, and service is a 10/10

Tried a few of the new items and they were fantastic. Our waitress was very prompt and kind. Had a great time.

Love social Southern! The fried green tomatoes are by far some of the best I've ever had. Love their biscuits with the hot honey, they literally melt in your mouth. Tried the mushroom flatbread for the first time and it was outstanding. The Rueben is always good and so is the steak and frites. The drinks are always good too! 

Service was great. Food was great. She knew we needed to be out of there fast and she made it happen.
