1st time eating here. I got the steak street taco lunch special. It was good. Food arrived quickly and the service was very friendly. Clean restaurant. Would like to return and try some other entrees in the near future.

Got scammed out of $26.50. I will never eat here again.... Called and spoke with the manager Joe. He wasn't friendly at all and he couldn't understand what I was trying to tell him so he just hung up on me.

I was by myself and wanted a quick lunch in the area. I've been coming to Tampicos once every few years, for the last 30 years. Food is a good B+. Service is great and I enjoyed sitting at the bar, taking my time with no rush. My only disappointment was the cost of lunch fajitas. Their website said $14.95, when I looked at their menu before going. My bill for lunch fajitas was $19.95. I understand they can't update every menu price online, but I was on their own website. If you have time to change the prices in the computer system, you have time to update your website as well.
The margarita was cheaper than expected, so that kind of counters it. It was good too.

It seems like I could go to a smaller restaurant and get the same food for about half the price and much quicker service.
Guess I'm feeling nostalgic for the quality that Tampico used to be.
Manager hung up on me numerous times. Just asked him to put extra salsa option on door dash. I asked him to have owner Joe call me tomorrow. They hung up me for the 4th time. We gave up on manager and ordered from Barrandas with extra salsa and chips. I will soon tell Owner Joe that this manager losing him many customers due to his rudeness.
Went on lunch break and there weren't very many customers but it seemed service was very slow
