On any other day I would have written a wonderful review with a recommendation to come here. But tonight i want to throw up. I was here on a date. the cook made non-stop sex jokes and happy ending jokes to us. 1 of his biggest jokes was a constant question and encouragement for me and my partner to make a baby tonight after he asked for my phone number. the food was 100% horrible. a rare steak i order was placed on the grill upon the chef starting to cook and left it there as the last thing to come off the gril..Fried rice was flavorless other than extra spicy. who makes spicy fried rice? I have saved the best for last. at our table was 2 other couples 1 couple was expecting a child. the chef made constant make babies jokes at her. then made a kill a baby joke directly at here while handling the eggs for the rice. He also had the lady's partner take 1 of the spatulas and slap the steak while instructing him to look at his pregnant partner saying "who's a bad girl. Who's a naughty girl." Thank the manager for agreeing to remove the meal from my partner and my own bill. This experience, not the meal alone, made us sick to our stomach. Id mention the Cook's name but I don't have it handy. either way hope he is fired because this was not professional in any way shape or form.

So sad that I have to write this review as Tokyo has been a place my husband and I had enjoyed in the past. Today we went for lunch and the whole experience was a mess. Our server seemed extremely overwhelmed. She was sweating profusely, forgetful and scattered. Her customer service skills were 0. She made no eye contact and spoke to us while walking away from our table. From start to finish, we were there for an hour and a half. This was way too long considering we were just there for lunch. There were no more than 3 tables dining at one time. She kept saying “it’s so hard when I’m working alone on this side.” as an excuse for her sloppy service. It started with my husband’s drink being incorrect, which is fine, easy fix. Then she brought out my husband’s lunch. Asked if we needed anything else, I responded with “just my rolls”. She said they were working on it. 20 minutes pass. Her next visit was with a box and the check and told us to have a good day. I stopped her and told her that I never got my food. She admitted that she forgot to put it in and apologized. She brought out rolls, but they were incorrect. She told me she would pay for the rolls and have them remake the correct ones. She came out with the correct rolls and brought the bill. Nothing was removed from my bill. When we addressed her about it, she tried to talk in circles about why it wasn’t removed. We asked for her manager who ultimately removed the rolls from the bill. The manager made the act of her saying she would pay for it right, but something needs to be done about this server. She was a mess.

Love their lunch sushi combo with soup. Always good service and good sushi.

Our waitress didn’t know half of what she was talking about and she was very slow and inconsiderate. Also, my and my friend waited over AN HOUR to get a to-go order. When we got up to go use the restroom they took ALL OUR FOOD. We were planning to take our left overs home but we couldn’t even do that. We also had to ask for our tickets LONG AFTER we were done eating. We have been here for over 2 hours now, witnessed all the tables around us get sat AFTER us and get food BEFORE us. Will not be back.

Always great when we go. I love watching them cook. The chef was so funny. He interacts with us a lot. Made us laugh often. The food was really good. The service was amazing. The atmosphere is always relaxing.

Go before the crowd for a really good hibachi dining experience. Big portions of good food, we left satisfied and definitely going back.
