This vibrant downtown diner serves up classic Cajun plate lunches, hearty breakfast burritos, and famous Angus burgers. Fluffy beignets, grilled catfish sandwiches, and house-made chili headline a comforting menu. Bright, modern retro seating, cozy booth spaces, and friendly local service create a cheerful community feel.
My wife and I eat breakfast here once a week as a treat. Food is cooked perfectly. Staff is top-notch. Great atmosphere as well. A+ restaurant.

Ton's Downtown Lafayette is a little cozy place downtown. The atmosphere is inviting, comfortable, and versatile, with a beautiful green door and warm smiles. The staff is consistently friendly, and the exceptional service makes everyone feel welcome. The food is always delicious, with homemade recipes passed down from 60 plus years. The daily specials taste like your mawmaw is in the back fixing you a plate. There is something on the menu for everyone, including the best hamburger in town, a breakfast bowl (double meat sausage and bacon topped with a perfectly fried egg), gumbo for breakfast, beignets, a vegan burrito, and pancakes. The frozen coffee is slightly addictive, and the fresh juice is also a highlight. The restaurant supports the community and stays open for Pride. The sign behind the bar features a fun message, the Cajun Word of the Day, and the daily specials. Ton's is a staple in the community and a downtown gem.
