Visited with party of six for a late lunch and the place was about empty. Po Boy shrimp sandwich was large enough to split, but very good. Grilled catfish was also very good. Wait staff was a bit flustered (even with very few people there), but friendly enough.
I visited Vermillionville and this restaurant while in Lafayette for Festival International. I can't wait to return to this charming restaurant! That's saying a lot because Lafayette is filled with excellent food! I ordered the plate lunch which started with a cup of excellent gumbo. I ventured to Lafayette to attend Festival International. Since I had the morning and most of the afternoon free the day after my arrival I decided to head to Vermillionville to explore the historic village and have lunch at La Cuisine de Maman.
