Visiting Lafayette just for the evening and went looking for beef. Read about Vestal and decided to give it a try. WOW! Great evening delicious steaks cooked to perfection. Also had the beef tartar and 6 local oysters appetizers. Highly recommend - be sure to get a reservation.

Enjoyed everything we had and the service was great. We had cocktails and I enjoyed the Pinot Grigio. Served ice cold which was delicious with the tuna crudo, chargrilled oysters and I was shocked at how good the focaccia was. Our group had 2 filets, snapper on the half shell, crab spaghetti and the sides we ordered were Caesar salad, cauliflower, fingerling potatoes and Brussel's sprouts. All were perfect. Thanks Daniel for a good experience.

Love Vestal....the best oysters! My friends had the pork chop and I swear Fred Flintstone must have helped find these....the friends LOVED the chops! The tuna crudo is amazing! Great wine list! Our server Daniel was attentive and helpful in selecting the right dinner for ourselves...and he was personable! Just a great dinner!

It was both of our bdays. The waiter made the whole experience lovely! The Mac n cheese with crabmeat meat was exceptional. I had the ribeye and husband had the filet. Both cooked to perfection. And the raw oysters from Barataria Bay, delectable!! I would do it all over again!

It’s a pricier place but absolutely worth it! The happy hour was super reasonable and definitely a great way to get the experience for a lower cost. I would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be back

We were a bit surprised at the price of drinks. We normally order doubles, but we thing their pour is 2 oz not 1 oz which makes a double 4 oz. Two doubles is way more alcohol than we wanted and way more pricy than we wanted to pay. My advice is to find out how much alcohol will come in the drink you order and what the price will be. Those kinds of surprises are no fun. Otherwise, food and service was excellent.
