10/10!!! New Favorite!
We just ate here for the 2nd time (two days apart from each other because we were so satisfied).
*We were greeted with smiling faces and the wait staff was top notch.
*Clean restaurant with nice outdoor dining option, too. We sat inside for our first visit. The second visit we enjoyed the beautiful day and sat outside.
*The chips were delicious, but nothing beats their WARM salsa!!
*The Cool Cucumber Rita is now my new favorite drink EVER! It has the perfect refreshing taste without an overpowering sweet taste and just the right subtle flavor of cucumber and mint. PLEASE don’t ever change the recipe to this drink!!
* The food was delicious and FRESH — it did not taste as though it was just passed through a heated oven on the plate. My favorite so far is the Camaron Taco (shrimp taco). It has the most delicious sauce on it. My shredded chicken fajita burrito was also very delicious with lots of meat and delicious fresh veggies. Although I didn’t try the beans and rice myself, those that were with me complimented how delicious they were and didn’t taste like the typical Mexican restaurants.
I just hope that this place keeps everything fresh, clean, and top notch!!

Great restaurant! Our first visit! We were treated very well! Service is excellent! Our waiter was very helpful and friendly and answered all my concerns. He helped with my special needs and accommodations. He communicated with kitchen staff for my allergies and food modifications, and the cooks were able to altar my menu choices to meet my needs. The food was GREAT!! Very tasty!! Good large portions!! Great prices!! Very beautiful decor and clean, clean, clean! Spacious clean restrooms too! Very happy. We will be back!!

I stopped in here for a late lunch on a Sunday with my boyfriend. We were seated right away. They brought us both warm and cold Salsa with our Chips. The Chips were very good and we really liked the warmed Salsa, but would pass on the cold Salsa next time. For my Appetizer, I ordered the Elotes and for my Main, I ordered One Grilled Chicken Quesadilla and one Barbacoa Taco. -Elotes: This consisted of 3 small corn on the cobs with some cotija liberally sprinkled on top and a dash of tajin. I did not realize until later that the menu did say it was supposed to have mayo, but there was none to be found on mine. It was the worst rendition of Elotes I've eaten. I much prefer the version at Chili's. -Grilled Chicken Quesadilla: This was a tortilla folded in half and it was overcooked so it was dry and wouldn't stay closed. I would try a quesadilla again, but not the "one" and not with chicken. -Barbacoa Taco: These are individually sold. The Barbacoa was melt in my mouth deliciousness and I would definitely order it again. Can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu.

A little disappointed about this place. I will note the servicer here was very good for the city, but the food and cocktails were all a let down. This place isn't really doing anything to differentiate themselves from the other 30 tex-mex restaurants in town.Pros:Salsa - I'd say its one of the better salsa's in town. There were two very similar salsas at the table, which was a little confusing.Queso - Average cheese dip you'd get at any tex-mex place, just on the expensive side.Service - Very impressed by the service. The server was attentive, and there was support staff to refill drinks, chips, etc.Cons:Beverages - No drink specials. Mezcal Old fashioned was excessively sweet and didn't taste like mezcal. The house margarita was overly tart. I probably wouldn't order a cocktail if I ever went back.Food - Had an assortment of tacos. The cilantro did not appear fresh. The presentation wasn't very attractive. Some of the meats were tepid. Tinga had no flavor and was very dry. The only thing I enjoyed was al pastor; however compared to other places in town it wasn't as flavorful.

Prepare for your visit by having appropriate expectations. This place has positive and attentive service. You will not have to wait long for someone to check on you. The prices are also decent, and they have a great patio.. Contrary to the praise, the food is not this restaurant's forte. For starters, the hot sauce tasted like warm ketchup flavored with large amounts of cumin. My wife's nachos had a surprise at the bottom, a puddle of grease. A quesadilla we ordered was made with yellow velveeta-like cheese. No proud mexican restaurant dares to use yellow cheese in a quesadilla. Another order was a Chile relleno. It was drowned in hot sauce and a white cheesy sauce. It looked like a microwaved mess. The last order was their version of a burrito, which was beef wrapped in a tortilla and covered in tomato sauce and that white mystery sauce..another mess. I'm not sure what type of food this is, but it is definitely not Mexican nor Tex-Mex. If you do choose to visit, come for drinks and take advantage of their huge bar and spacious patio.

The food was terrible and was bland. The server brought me some spoiled creamer that almost made me throw up. He then brought me the one in the picture, and it almost looked the same as the first one he brought me. He took forever even to bring us some coffee and some more salsa. We had to ask another server to bring us some more salsa and to please warm up the cheese because it was cold already. He also dropped some napkins and then proceeded to place them back with the clean ones!! SmhAt least the manager saw that, and she threw the napkins away. I don't think we'll stop again when we go to Louisiana again. We just had a bad experience all around.

Did not like my Enchildas, no flavor- Charros beans is not charros without tomatoes,cilantro,onions..Salsa not spicy and chips are not homemade..never again, and pricey!
The food was great and the service was exceptional. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and pleasant. The only negative is that the music playing was very monotonous. I eat at Latin restaurants regularly and enjoy all forms of Latin music, but this music needed some variety. After 15-20 minutes the exact same drum beat with every song can get irritating.

Margaritas are horrible. Food was terrible. Service and ambiance were nice. We will not return. The house margarita tastes like Koolaid. The top shelf tastes like orange juice watered down. The skinny margarita was barely drinkable. I give the bartender an " A" for effort, maybe it's their recipes that need work. We ordered a carnitas street taco and a Lengua ( tongue) street taco. It took awhile to get, so we thought at least it will be hot. Nope. It was served barely warm and the taste was just mediocre at best. Never again will I stop by there.

Food is absolutely amazing and the service was great. I definitely will be going back!! This restaurant is by far my favorite and I tried several, and this one is absolutely my favorite! I recommend them 100%Kid-friendliness: The people that works there was very kind and they got what we needed. Did not have to wait long at all.
