The little cook Caucasian white lady should not be working there the food is always cold and terrible we were there with my family yesterday trying to celebrate a big birthday for my son the steak was over cooked and extremely over seasoned if it wasn’t for the manager mr Steven we would’ve never returned but he offered to remake the food and he did a amazing job and also offered to make it right by comping my meal instead I just settled for Mr Steven to remake and it was amazing-that was excellent recovery service coming from a manager myself very impressed and will be back just not on that girl cook shift bc her food was terrible!!!

Garrett especially, but all the staff at Denny's Lake Charles are amazZing! The work extremely well together.This morning after a medical.procedure and before a different doctor's appointment my husband and I stopped in. They happened to be very short staffed, they aren't normally. Garrett work several hats, Expedition, Waiter, Cashier, Busses, Janitor... He handled it all with such ease (seemingly), personably, professionaly, friendly, promptly and with such accuracy.Everyone there is upbeat, positive, collaborative, friendly and all around pleasant. Just know that you are all greatly appreciated. ❤️

i was within a group of six that was seated on march 10th at around 9pm, but the server needed help from the manager and he was no where to be found..it was rather disturbing to see a manager gone for around 45 minutes to an hour while it was rather busy within the store the managers name was steve or steven i had overheard the server asking where steve or steven was which i later heard was the manager

Wanted to get started, then waited to get drinks then waited to order then waited and waited and waited for our food and while waiting no one ever checked on us couldn't get coffee or refills.... The food was good when we finally got it . They may have been short staffed or just having a bad day .Kid-friendliness: They were sweet to the kids .

The food was hot and fresh! Our server Tarik M. Was super good! Very attentive and even made it an enjoyable time with the toddler gave her Goldfish, chips etc. Fantastic visit!!!

March 27, 2024. We arrived and there was another party waiting to be seated. The lady who turned out to be our server (Melisa?), grabbed some menus and seated the couple who were already waiting. Before she came back, another couple came up to the register and when Melisa returned, without saying a word to us, started to ring them up and complete the transaction. When she was done I asked why she chose to take care of them before seating us, which would have taken about 20 seconds. Her weak excuse was, "Well they already finished and they needed to pay."The last email offer I received before visiting on that day was on March 25th and included the Original Grand Slam for $5.99. I asked Melisa if the Original Grand Slam was still for $5.99 and she said it was $6.49. I was a bit puzzled but I thought there may be a difference due to being in a another state. We each ordered the Original Grand Slam and I ordered an extra order of toast.Finally, another person served us our meals. My order of toast was missing. Also, it appeared that there was some of our order missing. We both had one sausage link and one strip of bacon. The grand slam is supposed to have two of each. I told Melisa that the orders were wrong and she said this was the Everyday Value Slam and that is what it came with. If that was the case, she was still incorrect because that meal comes with either sausage or bacon but not one of each and we did not order it that way. Even the appearance of the food was not very appealing (SEE PHOTO). We decided to eat as she was not around to address anything. When I did get to ask about the toast, she started walking off to prepare it. I told her to forget it as I was almost done. She said she had not even placed it on my order. As a result of the poor treatment and incorrect orders, I did not leave her a tip. Do yourself a favor and go to IHOP.
