It is more of a brunch place for me, the dinner menu isn’t as good as brunch in my opinion. Having said that the tomahawk steak was delicious and cooked perfectly and served with an amazing butter sauce. Relaxing atmosphere and super nice wait staff

I made reservations for tonight to treat my sweet husband to a nice evening. We were amazed at the care Slick showed us! I asked him to surprise me with a rum drink. He did outstanding! And, after I asked what the rum was, he showed me the bottle. Super impressive. Our food (beat salad, fried cheese and filet with asparagus) was so very good. Each bite was like it's own food experience. We will definitely be returning soon. This place should be packed out on a Friday night!...

Fire & Oak is a seriously overlooked gem in lake Charles! The food is great and offers a good variety at good prices. When you go, you’ve got to try the Brussels sprouts! The drinks are also delicious. Good food. Good atmosphere. Great servers.
