I decided on a get away from Central Texas and decided to spend a few days at the L'auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles. The hotel, casino, staff, pool, rooms were great. But, when it came to dining, your choices are very limited. During the week, in the evening, your choice for a meal, is Food & Brews. The steak was cooked to perfection with a great taste and the fish was great as well. Our server, Gage, was one of the best servers we had anywhere. Great place to eat really good food with great service. When you go, ask to sit in Gage’s section, you won’t regret it.

Disappointed. I'm pretty sure the food is frozen food heated up. Ordered spinach dip... tasteless. Hard to mess up spinach dip. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich. Just not good. Line was about an hour long. It was the only restaurant open in the Casino. I recommend ordering food to be delivered from anywhere else. L'Auberge.... what's going on? It's like you're asking me to go to Golden Nugget. Don't recommend eating here. The plus was price was okay and I didn't get food poisoning.
