Stopped by with a colleague and was surprised with the quality of the food. Tried their #8 menu item: 2 fish and 2 chicken, red bean rice with chicken sausage, and pecan pie slice. All good food and freshly cooked.
While it's my personal opinion, I didn't find the chicken to be anything famous or memorable, for that matter. It is very basic cafeteria-style gas station crispy, crunchy chicken, nothing more. Same for the rest of the food, it's not bad, isn't anything I'd go out of my way to get either. The staff was very polite, and the establishment was immaculate. It was not busy, and the food was prepared quickly.
Don't change anything about the food. This is my 2nd time from last year. Still good because I know your independently owned. Your chef knows how to cook rice and chicken.
