If the workers are low enough and working together to do what they do.... do you think they will tell the truth. And Gabby... i thought she was suffering from deppression. Appently, she is just mean and not a good person. I always tried to show her love. The last time we were there, the last look i saw on her face was the look of discussed on her face at us. Have no clue why. My best friend always said it feels like they were trying to get rid of us. Being a man, I refused to believe that until that final day, it became quite clear. The owner said he would get to the bottom of it but all they will do is lie. I'd rather meet all involved face to face. That what a man does. Great place to meet great people...... Food is a little better than normal food places. Delicious. We loved this place, .....this is my first post up above .....but young families and managers drove us away because of our Christianity. It was very shameful. We sit at the bar, and it would seem they sit in the back office listening to all we say and judging us as older adults. You can't help stupid. We spent a fortune there. I guess we didn't fit into their swinger ways. Not the owners but perhaps their son and management for sure. I tried contacting the owner to let them know what's going on, but we are insignificant, I suppose.

Some of best food I've eaten! Love the vibe of this place with Irish music piping over the speakers. My wife and I discovered this place on a recent visit to Lake Charles and this will be our go-to restaurant from now on! Kris was a fantastic server, and the food was perfectly cooked and warm. We went on a Monday afternoon, and there were no delays with the service or the food. We had the Blarney Stones (bacon-wrapped fresh jalapenos stuffed with sausage), Atomic Mac (creamy loaded Mac and Cheese with bacon and caramelized onions), and the Steak and Guinness (ribeye on top of a seared potato pancake). OMG! 10/5 stars! Will definitely be back soon!

Food was great. Drinks were already reasonably priced, but the happy hour was awesome (half off most everything behind the bar) and the bartender Blake was helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Will 100% be back for Sunday brunch.

Vibes: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - went for Brunch today, every single thing on the menu was so tempting! It’s pretty authentic, all the servers wear kilts. There is indoor & outdoor seating. Decor feels very Irish & broody but fits the setting perfectly. Service is always good from what we’ve experienced
Food/drink: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I had the mol bowl, macaroni & cheese, bacon, sausage, & poached eggs with hollandaise sauce (I got no jalapeño) & an Irish coffee. So yummy!! Other favorites are their home fries & ribeye ? med rare. Worth every penny!
Accessibility: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - stairs in the front & unpaved, rocky parking lot. All the way to the right of the building there is one parking spot marked with handicap accessible sign (non-paved or lined, no loading area for vehicle with wheelchair ramp) as well as a ramped entry for the building. Mostly hightop tables outside with 3 benched low tops. Inside, there was plenty of low tops with removable chairs. A little crowded but I felt comfortable in my chair. Bathroom was surprisingly accessible with plenty of room in the stall & correctly placed grab bars

Quite literally every single time I visit McFarlane's I have an excellent experience. The food is incredible, and they have a large drink selection, with seasonal specials. The staff are exceptional, both in their professionalism and their friendly demeanor. I have been to this restaurant more than a dozen times, and I have never had a poor or negative experience. I will be a loyal McFarlane's customer for many years.
