Miyako is a special place to me, with consistently attentive service and tasty food, even sans gluten options. I recommend the "tasty treat" appetizer - a cool refreshing 5 piece arrangement of shrimp, egg custard, avocado, and cucumber, wrapped in rice paper and topped with a sweet mayo, that isn't over sweet at all. Or their squid salad on a hot day... Yum! Even my children love their squid salad, so this is a must-try.
Most delicious sushi I've ever had. This restaurant is actually a 6 out of 5 stars. Phenomenal service, stellar food, and pristine dining conditions are to be expected. I highly recommend eating here even if you're on a budget (they have an excellent selection of lunch and happy hour specials).
Never disappointed with a dining experience at this hidden gem of a restaurant. Service is nice and personable, low lights, quiet atmosphere, spectacular food and presentation for price. Miso soup, appetizers, hibachi, and all rolls I have had were great. Cowboy roll is a new favorite and comes with a thin slice of seared and peppered steak on top.
