We came through today a little after lunch. I got our usual after my husband's doctor appointment...and tried the French toast for the first time too. We were seated promptly, the food came out fast, and our little waitress "reatha" was as sweet as can be.. she was always smiling, stayed busy, and didn't have to ask for anything. The plates are always generously portioned, and we have never been let down by taste or quality since we first started coming after...
Fresh coffee, greatest breakfast around! Old school diner feel, clean and well lit! Great service. This is the kind of place with regulars who hug the waitress. Clean restrooms! Huge menu. When is the last time you saw Chicken Fricasse.
The French Bread French Toast was surprisingly good. Great breakfast! Highly recommend.Lake Charles recently suffered storm damage and things might look rough on the outside but this is the best place to eat in LC!!
