I stumbled upon this gem and was so glad I did because the food was absolutely incredible. Everything tasted like a home-cooked meal with authentic flavors that really hit the spot after a long day of traveling. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was genuinely friendly, making me feel right at home. Very good food. Friendly and fast service. Ive never had a problem. The food is very delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend. Also they have lunch specials. Absolutely love this place.

The staff at Southern Spice is fantastic. All the team members work hard and get your delicious food out quickly. So yummy!
I visit Lake Charles occasionally. Love breakfast and found Southern Spice. Excellent food and service always, and without exaggeration, the BEST cup of black coffee I have ever had. I would recommend it to anyone who loves breakfast.

Ate here for breakfast and ended up with the most horrible food poisoning of my life. I NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH BAD SERVICE, VOMITING AND APPARENT FOOD CONTAMINATION EVER. The food was so bad the racism didn't even bother me. Keep this place.

Had the lunch special beef tips on rice green beans cold slaw. It was good but not Cajun good. Need something with some spice.
