TaD's Louisiana Cooking- Lake Charles

I have to commend this restaurant. I picked up an order. They forgot an appetizer so I had to go back and tell them because the phones were busy. I explained that was a little disappointed because I knew when I returned home, I would have to reheat my food in the microwave and it just isn’t pleasant. They were so kind; they made a fresh dinner for me 🙌. Not only is the food amazing the staff are courteous, have excellent customer service skills, and willing to go the extra step. 👏

All food sucked except for the fried food. The service from our waitress was exceptional. She was a trooper. They did give us a discount for raw and cold food but definitely would not recommend. We were very dissatisfied. Beer was the best part of the meal.

Mine was awesome!!! Crab cakes were a lovely balance of a little spicy yet savory. Perfect!

Our server was wonderful she kept stopping by and asking if everything was alright and if we needed anything else. The food is great, and it is filling well worth the price. It's definitely worth the price.

The gumbo was AMAZING and the portion was huge! I tasted a chicken tender and it was amazing. Everyone else in the party lived their food.

The food was fantastic!! My hubby got their fried chicken sandwich (coated in their parmesean garlic sauce) and it was the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten!
I got the crawfish 2 ways (etouffe and fried crawfish tails) and it was so delicious!
The service was okay. Our waitress was good. The hostess was angry and having a bad day. Not friendly at all.
The food came out in a timely manner and was super fresh. We will definitely be back! We highly recommend you give them a try!

By far some of the best crab legs I've had at a great deal! Keep up the good work. The spice is amazing and makes them better than Dragos AYCE snow crab. The draft beer is ice cold which makes it some of the best draft in town. I suggest having a larger selection of craft draft beer. Local selections would be cool.

Overpriced. Mediocre food. Subpar service.

Easy to find and adequate parking on site. An assortment of programming was displayed on the several TVs around the dining room. Crawfish etouffee was too spicy and rubbery and didn't have much of a taste. Portion size was generous. Drinking water did not taste good and maybe we should have asked for bottled water. The side salad was really good. Dinnerware was spotted and not clean in appearance and shiny as we like it. Service was good and timely. Sorry but not a $50 meal.

Spent way too much on this. I have to assume everyone was having their worst day here. Nothing we ordered had any salt. I don't mean barely any, I mean none. Stuffed shrimp were not stuffed it was smashed around the shrimp and fried. No big deal right? Except they left the shells on the shrimp. I've never walked out of a seafood place hungry while still having a plate full of food. Service was bad too. I don't like giving mean reviews, but this is the worst place I've ever been to.

A little too spicy for my liking but it was a great selection for Lousiana authentic food. Great service. Gumbo was waaay too smoky. Very kid friendly since its so loud. That way no one could hear my kids yapping, lol
