I’m from Houston and we have some Good Food. This place is Down Home Southern Greatness. Moms and Pops Old School Joint with some bomb as food. The staff is friendly service is fast. If you are visiting lake Charles This Place is one spot you definitely want to try. Thank me Later. The Gumbo, Fried Chicken Crackling, Cat Fish and Salad were all delicious. I’m definitely visiting here again if I’m still blessed to be in the land of the living

I brought my 6 year old daughter to dinner at TaDs for a date night. I ordered the special seafood trio. Before we were done, my daughter needed to use the restroom. I told the l hostess that I wasn't finished and just needed to bring my daughter to the restroom and I would be back.When I got back to our table, it was already cleared and the guy who busses the tables and our waitress met us at the table and profusely apologized. It really was no bid deal, I had finished 95 percent of my meal and it was pretty busy. The food was amazing. Seasoned to perfection. My daughter and I had a wonderful evening. The waitress and bus man went above and beyond anything they needed to do and got my daughter and I a dessert to share. It really wasn't necessary, but they insisted. That made my daughters night.Kee was our waitress and I didn't catch the bussers name. He was a bald fella and looked to be in pretty good shape.They handled that situation very professionally and I wasn't even complaining. I understand busy nights. 5 stars for the food. 5+ stars for the staff. Highly recommended.Thank you for a wonderful date night with my daughter.

A party of six of us arrived right at 5 pm. We were promptly seated. The bar area was so loud though. We were greeted by our server and she told us the happy hour special and the specials of the day. I ordered a margarita on the rocks, crawfish bites, and mozzarella sticks for the table. We ordered and everything came out in about thirty minutes. We ordered one kid popcorn shrimp to split between our kids, I ordered fish tacos, my husband got overstuffed shrimp poboy, our friend ordered the kids catfish for her son, and she got bang bang shrimp. The onion rings were on point. Some of the best ones I've had in a while.Everything came out quickly, hot, and fresh.We will have to go back after such a great experience.
