I am here now. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a Texas Roadhouse. From the girl that is waiting on us, rolling her eyes everytime she comes to the table, not asking us any questions about our steaks or otherwise to the guy with the mustache that brought us drinks. Everyone is irritated we exist. The managers have walked by multiple times, ignoring the frustrated patrons. This isn’t a five star restaurant…acknowledged. But, can the staff here pretend to give one single crap that we are here struggling with raw steak and rolls that are nonexistent?

Unfortunately, my ribs weren't as juicy as others; they were overcooked and dry... but everything else was excellent. MAYBE was the hour ( 9pm)

Bad experience at first. A group of 9 people visiting lake Charles for a swim meet. After an hour wait, we ended up crowded in a 6 people table. Our waitress wasn't the best and food was OK. The manager had to step in at the end, otherwise this would be a 1 star review.

Seated at 6pm and ordered at 6:10. Bread came with us to the table. Ordered water when we sat down. We had to ask our server to bring us plates for the bread. Server never came back to our table to see if we wanted to order other drinks or see if we needed anything else (more bread). Salads for the order finally arrived at the table at 6:30. At 6:40 the server picked up the plates but left the bread basket filled with peanut shells, butter cups, etc. We were not asked if we wanted more bread while we waited for our food. We started to get cold because the AC was still blowing high even though temp outside was only 51 Degrees, so we stopped a floor manager and asked to move to another table. There were three in our section open. He made a fuss because they would have to change it in the system and the server. He offered us a hat to keep the air off of our head instead. We continued to wait for our food. The table of 6 that were giving their order when we were seated, received their food, ate, left, and their table was bussed. We still didn’t have our food. Finally at 7:05, we stopped a manager again and said to just put our food in takeout containers because we had been there an hour and still didn’t get our order. The brought the food out and was not really hot so I am guessing it was sitting back there for a while. I have been to this location several times before and received really good service but this time was the worst. I don’t think I will go back again.

I’m not one to go out of my way to post a negative review, but we just really had a frustrating time here last night. We came with a party of 14 and got told that they would seat half the party first and then the other half. We later found out they were seating us at opposite ends of the restaurant. We had food issues on both side of the party. My prime rib was overdone so I asked for just a med rare ribeye instead since they said all the primes were overdone. So I got a very rare ribeye instead by the time everyone was done and headed out. Some of us didn’t get our sides that we kept asking for until we were already walking out the door also. The check still had both steaks on them and we almost pair for both. Our server was nice but her and the manager just turned a blind eye to the real awkward dining experience we had. No apologies or offers for a discount (which my family never asks for). Just bad situational awareness on the waitstaff of how much of a hassle it was for us and the kitchen wasn’t able to get the right temps for half of the steaks on the table. We just felt like we got a high five and a “see you later.”
