We reserved a sack of crawfish a week before Mother’s Day after seeing the advertised price of $1.99/lb for weeks. We paid $129 cash for 38 pounds, only to later realize we were actually charged over $3/lb with tax.

When we asked about it, we were told the advertised price only applied to smaller crawfish and the “spillway caught” crawfish were more expensive. None of that was explained when ordering, and the online posts simply listed a price per pound for a sack.

We called a week ahead of Mother’s Day to reserve a sack. Prices were disclosed, naturally, as they are priced day of. Place has been advertising $1.99 a pound for a few weeks. Paid $129 cash for 38 pounds and didn’t realize til later in the day I paid $3.11 with tax.
