I wanted to love it. Sadly, the po-boy was far from stuffed or dressed well. It was dry, under stuffed, and the bread tasted stale.
We just bought a home nearby and was hopto love this place.
We will skip this establishment.

I eat here pretty often. I have never been disappointed in the food, it is alwas fresh and good. I have eaten chicken at other places that was full of gristle and had no flavor, but Skooters chicken is always tender, carefully prepared, and good ! I have eaten sea food at other places in Madisonville that was obviously Not Fresh, but I have never been disappointed at Skooters! Occasionally Pete has to train a new server that might not be completely up to speed yet, but long time...

The food is fresh and good, ice cream was great, pricing is average with other places maybe wven what and what with McDonald's, burger king, etc. but way better, the employee that took my order was patient, kind, she checked if everything was good and the whole time we were there even though she didn't have customers she stayed busy making sure things were clean and ready.
