Beautiful & fun restaurant. Amazing views. Our waiter, Grant, was outstanding; Maria is excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. Cannot wait to go again.

Aperitif Spritz + Bites is a treat for those who enjoy a relaxed dining experience by the lakefront. The place feels feminine and welcoming, with a front veranda that offers a view of Lake Pontchartrain and the construction of a wave and break wall. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and thoughtfully curated, making it a good spot for a date night or a relaxed evening with friends.
The food is delicious. A lobster crawfish and crab soup arrives in a small pot with a brass handle and is served with tiny cutlery. The salmon with herbed trussman and asparagus spears is succulent and tender. For dessert, the creme brulee includes fresh blueberries and raspberry on a mint leaf. The menu also offers beef carpaccio, filet, and other dishes that are balanced in flavor and beautifully plated.
Cocktails are a highlight. The Hendricks Martini is superb, made with a touch of vermouth, olives, and a lemon rind twist. The bar staff, including a bartender who makes amazing drinks, is friendly and welcoming. Wine selections complement the menu well.
Service is exemplary. The staff is knowledgeable, personable, and attentive without being overbearing. They clear tables promptly and offer dessert choices. The front deck and overhang provide a beautiful setting with oak trees, moss, and sailboats in view. The restaurant’s design and staff deserve kudos for creating a memorable experience.
