What a wonderful restaurant, and a wonderful night. We were here to celebrate a birthday, so many of us got the five course meal. Every single course was spectacular, the restaurant was beautiful, wouldn't change anything about the delicious food. The star of the evening, however, was Stephanie, our waitress. Bright, friendly, cheerful, and easily the best waitress I've ever had anywhere. She took what was already a really good experience and made it phenomenal.

I got hired here two weeks ago I trained for two days when regular training at restaurants is between 5 and 7. Since nobody is perfect I accidentally forgot to put one order in but then hurried and addressed it and I have never opened bottles of wine so I didn’t know how but after practicing learned. They have a woman named Carmen there who was constantly picking on me and harassing me every single day. Examples my pants are too tight when other peoples pants are telling me I can’t charge my phone in a certain spot when everyone else does it she would tell me to do things I either was already on my way to do or had done. Ring brand new and making that little bit of mistakes is no reason at all to be fired. I even went into the owner Meca’s office to address what the issues were and why I was being singled out I asked for freed back because I really cared about the job I was literally told I just needed to work on wine( which as I already said I learned how to do after practicing) from the start I knew how to do a presentation, I knew the whole menu, I would upsell wine, keep my customers tables clean and check on them, make conversation with them. All of the people I waited on loved me. They wrote compliments on the ticket and even told Meca how great I was, noneof them could believe I was brand new. OfCourse Meca didn’t tell me good job or anything. Iv been a server my entire life and never had an issue from the moment I walked in all they did was gossip about me and watch every move I made and any little mistake like the wine for example the time I put it on the table they would hurry and get the owner. When I kept getting skipped last night when customers kept walking in I asked why I wasn’t getting tables and mica the owner told me don’t ask me that go do something when I had just finished polishing all the silverware and glasses setting up tables and even offered to run food and since I was getting tables I was doing all of this work for 2.13 when my money is supposed to come fromTips. I have never been mistreated so bad in my life. I was scheduled from 3 to 9 and only was given 3 tables all night. Mica and Carmen as well as a few others who kept gossiping and treating me like they did should be fired. I wasn’t even given a reason. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever worked I don’t recommend eating here either because all they do is talk about all of the customers iv even seen servers drop food on the floor and still it. Absolutely terriblePlace.

The staff here are extremely rude and u unprofessional, especially the owner Meca Impastato and manager Carmen. I was hired as a server as iv done this my entire life. I was only trained 2 days when majority of places it's 5 to 7 but that's okay because I learn quickly and have a lot of experience so I was barely there 2 weeks and made hardly any mistakes compared to the people who are there for months and years making a ton of them. One time I forgot to ring in an order when we were really busy but immediately let the kitchen know, another time I put table 31 instead of 32 this was before the food was brought out and I told the manager and it was easily fixed. I had trouble with wine at first so I sat it on the table to get it opened(other servers do it all the time). i know loNiger did it that way practiced and within a short time frame was able to open it without sitting it down. Carmen would tell me to do things regarding my table or in the kitchen that I was either already headed to do or had done. This was an everyday thing this woman wouldn't let me do my job that I was doing great at besides the few mistakes I made being so new. I'm a perfectionist so I decided to go talk to the owner about all of the harassment and gossiping where I can hear them as well as continuously focusing on me instead of their own tables I didn't need help so there was no reason for them to keep watching me to run back to the manager. I sold 3 bottles of wine my first 2 days and received a 100 dollar tip off of one table the servers found this out and were obviously very jealous because why else would people be so hateful? I asked my boss for feedback explaining to her that I don't understand what it is besides the things I named that I'm doing wrong she had no feedback besides stating we all make mistakes and then skipping me all night long not giving me any tables so of course I'm going to wonder when I keep seeing people walking in and I asked her she said don't ask me why go do something. I had been doing a ton I polished the glassware, set the tables, filled water pitchers and ran food all for 2.13 and hour instead of getting tables. I was fired for reporting the harassment which is known as retaliation. The food may be good but the servers do nothing but talk about customers too and iv seen food dropped on the floor and served. This place needs to be shut down.

Our server, Vanessa, was absolutely fantastic! She was more than accommodating and an absolute sweetheart! The cocktails were very disappointing and not made correctly. I’ve been in the service industry for 12+ years and I’m a bartender myself. He could’ve been having a bad night and I’ll give him that. The menu rubbed me the wrong way and if someone splits a meal they up charge 7 dollars for that. First restaurant I have ever gone to that has ever done anything in that matter. To me, that’s just bad business. Overall, the food was absolutely excellent and if it wasn’t for our server I could say that my experience here wasn’t good.

Waitstaff was very attentive and kind. They were knowledgeable of the menu and helped us decide on what to get. There was a jazz singer there and it was very quaint and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Before tonight we had dined at Impaststos twice, and enjoyed our experience. After this evening we will never return. We arrive to the restaurant and it is raining outside, the indoor dining room is almost empty, except for two couples seated. The hostess walks us through the dining room and seats us in the back porch area, that is only screened in by plastic, crowded, and smells of mildew. We could not hear ourselves talk. My husband, knowing that the bill will be expensive, ventured back inside the dining room and requests that we be seated inside (there are still only 2 couples seated in the entire dining room at 7:30pm). We are moved inside. Our server is pleasant and attentive. She is the only positive part of our experience. My husband ordered the steak and I ordered the Redfish Marcello. Our food was awful, bland, dry, and overpriced. Do not waste your money here. They will literally charge you $200 for reheated frozen fish and a seat outside in the rain.

Greeted at the entrance by a less than pleasant hostess, our seating assignment was just outside a private wine room (open door) and 13 adorable, but quite mobile little ladies and their daddy dates. If proper staffing had been available, perhaps they might have been better occupied and the evening might have been different.Our waiter was constantly taken from our table to help herd children and food and if my husband hadn’t said something, we might still be waiting for our food~ food which was at best, pedestrian and in one case, colder than a lost Door Dash delivery.Honestly, the sauces weren’t as good as Rau, thrown in a pot and set in a corner since the night before.Our waiter was wading through only his second night and was being pulled hither and yon. He was unfamiliar with the menu and didn’t seem to know basic Italian dishes. The salads did have a lovely, light dressing.The chef should be sent to Italy for a refresher course; the hostess for a personality make-over and if you have a love for authentic Italian food in a romantic setting, this is not the culinary experience you wish for a date or special occasion.When a restaurant places a group above the rest of the patrons, this is a recipe for disaster, leaving a bitter taste on the palate.Parking: Almost dangerous!

Shared the restaurant with a large group in the "Cellar Room" that included some badly behaved little ladies. The entire restaurant was their domain.In the process of serving their meals ours was neglected. Clearly the kitchen was not capable of injecting about 25 meals in the middle of the remainder of the restaurant. When the food finally came it was some fairly pedestrian stuff.Very bad experience.

I was very disappointed in the service and food. For the amount of money spent it should have been a wonderful expedience especially since we picked this restaurant to celebrate x3 Birthdays. I will probably never go back! Our female waitress definitely was ver forgetful and had to be reminded several times even to bring us menus! Really??? My husband complained to her and her reply was that they were understaffed!! Not the answer we should get!

Greeted by a sullen lady. Party of about 15 little girls kept running back and forth. Waiter on job only two days. He was very nice but should not have had to deal with a large number of tables AND the 15 little girls and their dad's. He could not remember what we ordered and after QUITE A WAIT we had to ask for our meals. One meal was served less than warm and had to be sent back. Meals were mediocre at best. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will not return.

The atmosphere was great. The service was good. I was expecting a really good meal, but ended up with a very disappointing entree.. It was very bland, and not appealing at all. To me, it tasted literally like someone had melted a bunch of cheese and threw in some boiled shrimp. There was no seasoning to enhance the dish.Maybe it was bad timing and I was just there on a bad chef day.I would not personally choose to go to this restaurant again based on my first time experience, however I would most likely give them one more try if a group of my friends chose to go there.I'm not bashing the restaurant, just giving my honest opinion of my experience.
