Dino's Snoballs and Ice Cream

The snowball flavors are watered down bad.. taste like flavor water and the ice is chunky.

I was a bit confused how to order it since it is displayed as “soft ice” . I normally order snow cone when I go everywhere else. I approached the window and an older gentleman open the window. He didn’t seem to be in a good mood but I proceeded to order.

Again, I was a bit confused with the huge selection and how to order it. I tried to explain my self to the gentleman but he replied in a rude tone “ I know what you mean, I’ve been doing this for almost 30 years”.
Well, he gave me a cup of shaved ice , no flavor.
I proceeded to ask for a flavor and again, in a rude tone” that’s not what you ordered “.

It could have been miscommunication from both parties, but he needs to understand I’m the costumer. He is in the service industry and have to meet my expectations.

I took a look inside the shop and is very dirty.

I will not be coming back.

Very sweet, nice guy. Great customer service. Soft snoballs. Just moved to this area and overlooked it. I definitely regret it now that I know this place is worth it. And they take Tap/Card!!! 10/10

Been going to Dino’s snowball since 2011, moved from the area in 2015 and I always drive to metairie to get my snowballs, that coconut supreme is simply the best my husband and I love it.

Dino’s has delicious snowballs but the Italian ice is phenomenal!! Love the convenient drive-thru!!

I moved to Metairie in 2012. I have been going to this snowball since I moved. They have the best sno balls and no and I mean no one have the best nachos like Dino’s!!!! If you go any where else believe me you are missing out!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I asked my boyfriend to go get me and the kids some snowballs from this place because it’s literally up the street. We stayed on the phone so I could pick the flavors. The guy taking the order was soo rude to my boyfriend. He could barely order the first snowball before he told me he’s not going back. He asked for an “extra large” and the guy cut him off and said “what does it say on the board? We don’t have extra large it’s called the Dino” my boyfriend proceeded to order, guy walked away before taking payment and just left him waiting. When he came back he said “ What are we waiting on? Why are we standing here?” And my bf said you never took my card. His response was “Oh thanks for being honest” He’ll never see another dollar from us. And oh yeah they were very watery.

The snowball flavors are VERY watery. I asked if I could bring it back (to potentially try a new flavor) and he replied with “what do you want me to do, those are our best selling flavors.” He tasted it himself and said they were fine. He blamed me getting so much condensed milk for the taste of the syrup. Horrible service. 0/10. Also very rude owner. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
