The place was beautiful and the staff was awesome. Unfortunately the food was horrible. The breading on the chicken tasted like it was really old. I wanted to like it so much.
We went there today and met NANCY AND DAVE THE OWNERS. They were nice and welcoming. the food was good the service was courtesy and the place was clean including the restrooms. my family was satisfied and enjoyed the indoor dining room 1950s decor and music.
We will be back and the roast beef poboy is next on my list to try.

I live in Lafayette now. Came “home” for the day. Stopped in for lunch and ordered a “sloppy”, dressed roast beef. It did NOT disappoint! The staff were all as sweet as the root beer! Thanks Frostop! Brought back some good memories!!!
