An absolutely wonderful little neighborhood cafe! I like to grab breakfast or coffee from Cafe Royale if I'm in the area, which is usually when I'm due for a haircut/color. It was nice and quiet the morning I stopped in, and it seemed to be filled with regulars which is a strong indicator of consistency for me. Friendly, fast service and great prices make this place the perfect spot to grab a quick bite. They had a decent selection available on the menu; including the daily special, breakfast platters, sandwiches and omelets as well as speciality coffees. During my last visit I opted for the combination breakfast, which included eggs, sausage or bacon, hash browns or grits, and toast or biscuit - FYI I went with eggs, sausage, hash brown and a biscuit with a regular cup of coffee and bottled water. The food was cooked well, portion sizes were generous and the waitress made sure my cup of coffee was always full with a smile. I left completely satisfied; from service, to food quality and price- everything was just right. I'm definitely looking forward to trying some of the lunch items on their menu next time I'm in the area.

We got some catering from this place and it was delicious! We ordered big trays of pasta, jambalaya, salad, finger sandwiches and brownies. I personally tried the pasta, salad and finger sandwiches. The pasta was penne pasta that was nice and cheesy and had tons of flavor. My favorite was definitely the salad because it was packed with goodies- it had spinach, avocado, walnuts, feta, dried cranberries and it was topped with a yummy vinaigrette. It was one of the best salads I have ever had and it made me want to go to Cafe Royale and have more. The finger sandwiches were pretty good, but didn't really blow me away and I've had better elsewhere. If you need something catered, I would chose Cafe Royale because I was more than pleased with the food.

Cafe Royale is a sweet, friendly place that I cannot believe I hadn't discovered yet. My girlfriend and I popped in for lunch on a Saturday. We ordered paninis and, I must say, the spinach and artichoke panini was glorious. It is quite larger than my panini experiences from other establishments and it was served with a side of chips. The owner, Julie, was our server and she was as lovely as can be. She took care of us just as if we were one of the several regulars that were dining that day. It was nice hearing her talk to her customers by name. I'm sure I'd be one if I lived closer to this fine example of a family cafe. Thanks for the wonderful lunch and I'm sure I'll see you again sooner rather than later.

Stopped in for lunch while on business. Service was great and fast. Enjoyed the club sandwich. Definitely a locals type place which was nice. I would definitely recommend for a good, quick meal.

Cute little neighborhood cafe - we stopped by for a quick breakfast. Looks like a place for locals and regulars, which is fun to be part of. Good food and friendly, fast service. The two waitresses were super sweet and accommodating. My husband got the croissant breakfast sandwich with a sausage patty and I had the eggs any way breakfast (vegetarian). Both were great. Simple, but good - nothing fancy or different but done right.
Such a comfortable environment with great food. Ample parking spaces, friendly faces and lots of seating. Be sure to try the chicken royale!

This is the worst company. Parents if your teens wants to go work for them. Please don't allow them. They are the worst company for you to allow you child to work for. After the US LABOR LAW states a student shouldn't work past a certain time, they make no excepts and threaten the students that they will get fired or not get any hours. No communication with the employee or the employees is giving any information once they no longer work for them. To top it off if you ever want to reach any of the managers (district, regional) or any payroll department all their phone numbers are disconnected or not in service. After attempting 7 different phone numbers and calling the "popeyes customer service" (that BTW) still hasn't called me back. You will NEVER reach anyone, and if you finally do reach someone they are rude and don't want to help you or give you the name or the phone number of the persona that can help you. This company and it's franchise is a joke. This is one of life's many lessons, and my advice to any parent or person needing a job is to look else where. I truly believe that this company takes advantage of those that are less fortunate, that can't obtain a decent job because of age or background. Regardless, of age, color or disability no one should be treated as this company treats it's employees.

Beautiful breakfast. Out of the way location. You call to me still. So, can I do all of my reviews in Haiku? Probably not, but this is a special little place. Just off the Airline in NOLA, is a little breakfast joint with substantial offerings. I had the Breakfast Wrap, sausage, egg and cheese. Beautiful, not fancy but then again I didn't want fancy. Taste so darn good, and such low prices. If you are not in the mood for some of the more artsy uptown digs, give this place a try. Parking, good food, good coffee. What more can you ask for?

This is one of my very favorite spots for lunch. Julie, the owner and all the wait staff are super friendly and welcoming. There are great daily specials. I seem to always order one of the paninis. They are so generous I always need a take home box.I really enjoy all the coffee and tea choices.salads are super. We've used the Cafe Royale twice for catering and we're very pleased. I look forward to using them again.
