An absolutely wonderful little neighborhood cafe! I like to grab breakfast or coffee from Cafe Royale if I'm in the area, which is usually when I'm due for a haircut/color. It was nice and quiet the morning I stopped in, and it seemed to be filled with regulars which is a strong indicator of consistency for me. We got some catering from this place and it was delicious! We ordered big trays of pasta, jambalaya, salad, finger sandwiches and brownies. I personally tried the pasta, salad and finger sandwiches. The pasta was penne pasta that was nice and cheesy and had tons of flavor. My favorite was definitely the salad because it was packed with goodies- it had spinach, avocado, walnuts, feta, dried cranberries and it was topped with a yummy vinaigrette. Wow what can I say. First off the waitress Kendall was amazing. Tended to our every need and whatever we asked for it was always no problem. I ordered a meat lovers omelette which was incredible. Will frequent the café royale every time I return to Nola
