This cake is one of the best cakes we have ever had. My husband got us a cake from here 7 years ago when we first started dating and still can’t stop talking about how good it was. We got a Chantilly cake for his birthday and it was so soft and the berries were fresh! Also love they were able to still write happy birthday on a separate little cookie for him. He was so excited to have a cake from Maurice’s!
We had the Kouign-Amann pastry. Oh my goodness, was it fantastic and beautiful. One of the best pastries we have ever had. If you never had one of these, please indulge!!! And we had a wonderful discussion with Jean-Luc as well.
This is my favorite bakery in the area. The baked goods have so much flavor and are not overly sweet. Their chocolate truffle cake is rich and fantastic, but you really can’t go wrong.
