“Having heard that the new Ruby Slipper location had a framed print of my watercolor painting of the original restaurant on South Cortez, which I had created for the owners. My husband and I were interested in checking it out, so we stopped by for brunch today, and were served by Rebecca, who was friendly and very helpful. I had the bananas foster pain perdue (french toast), and my husband had the migas, and we shared bites of each. It was a very pleasant experience! Thank you to the Weishaupts for displaying my art.“

“Only open 3 months but you would never know it. The place is beautiful, service was spot on, and the food incredible. It's a Tuscany style restaurant from the same owners as Mopho and Maypop. Highly highly recommend!!Kid-friendliness: They had kids there but only bring them if they are well behaved and are not going to run around. This is a high end place.“

“My family and I drove around New Orleans looking for a lunch spot. (It has to be clean and smell good , I know this is our own set of issues) I am not exaggerating when I say, I would have eaten off the floor. This place was the cleanest place we found and it put us at ease. To top it off, every thing we ate was amazing! I had the chicken philly, my hubby had the signature, and my son had the steak fries and strawberry lemonade(he went on and on how good his lemonade was).We highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly food options!“

“Habanero, where have you been? This place has it all; great food, amazing atmosphere, and definitely friendly and welcoming staff. From the appetizers to the tacos, it’s the perfect place to savor well prepared Tex Mexican food. Alambré tacos are so far my favorite dish along with sweet plantains and charro beans. It’s now my go-to Mexican restaurant!“

“Arrived for dinner on a Friday night and was immediately seated by the hostess at a high top. I did not expect this place to be so big! The inside is large with lots of seating, a long bar area, and an outside dining area. I ordered a house margarita. It was refreshing and not overly sweet. The chips and salsa were good, nothing special. I enjoyed the queso - it was hot, thick, and creamy. For my entree, I ordered a chicken quesadilla. I was given the choice of grilled or smoke chicken (wow) and I chose the grilled chicken. The quesadilla was good and it came with guacamole, sour cream, and pico. Everyone I went to dinner with enjoyed their entrees. We ordered tres leches bread pudding for dessert and it was decent. I would not order it again. I had a great experience. The service was excellent, and every staff member was friendly. I will definitely be back to Las Cruces for margaritas and to explore the menu.“

“The truth is that Jose's attention was very special, he showed us the menu, he made suggestions, he gave us to try some appetizers that were already amazing with very good flavors. Then he served us the main dishes, the flavors were delicious and the prices were very affordable. They make you feel at home. Grateful for everything Jose. I congratulate you, see you again soon.“
