This was the very worst seafood plater I ever had paid like 37 dollars and the beading was falling off the fish and the crawfish pie was like nasty

The fries were great really delicious.
I ordered the meatball/mozzarella poeboy, I felt like the meatballs good use a little more seasoning, just a tad bit on the bland side for food in Louisiana.

Service was great saw multiple servers helping each other out, and great family atmosphere

I live in New Orleans a number of years ago. I ate here. Periodically and the food was very good and consistent. We ate there recently and the food was terrible. In my opinion, the quality of the food has diminished. It is also expensive relative to other similar restaurants in the area I would not recommend going there.

So incredibly disappointed! Been coming here since the 1980s. This is not the same food - quality has declined significantly. Catfish was bland and not enough salt or seasoning. The onion rings were greasy and tasted “off” the sauce on the eggplant tasted ”old” and overcooked. This place used to be the best around for fried seafood. I’m done, won’t be back. If the owner sees this - you need to seriously get your kitchen on the ball. If you want to stick to poboys, fine. But if you are going to keep serving seafood etc, you need to step it up. This was a terrible experience. It used to be incredible. Very sad indeed.

This restaurant has always been a family favorite. Our family has visited this restaurant regularly since I was very young. We went for lunch on Saturday and were very disappointed. The restaurant now charges a fee to pay with a credit card! We ordered po-boys to be told they were out of tomatoes. The restaurant opens at 11am and we arrived at 11:15. Ridiculous since there are 3 grocery stores in close proximity to their location. The last disappointing feature was the attitude of the eaitress. She acted as though she was doing us a huge favor by waiting on us until she brought the check. Sadly, we will NOT be returning!

Softshell crab po boy and BBQ shrimp were excellent and at a great price. It's clear why R & Os has been around and is a local favorite.

Very disappointed! Grew up enjoying R&O’s. Simple to-go order, and it’s wrong. Poor customer service. If you’re going to provide a fast food experience, then charge fast food prices.
