Restaurant Cypress

My husband and I had reservations and waited at the bar till our table was ready. @Catheriine” who I assume to be the manager was very disrespectful to another staff member....in front of the entire dining room. Our soup NEVER came out at all and my steak came out crispy and crunchy. Catherine proceeded to tell me...that if I want it cooked....it will be charred...even if I order it medium. She was so incredibly rude...it was very embarrassing to have her being so disrespectful in front of the other dinners....she literally scolded me and spoke to me like I was an idiot. She really needs to be fired....the steak was truly inedible. And she is a tyrant!

Veal special with crabmeat ravioli is my absolute favorite! Best bacon ranch dressing. Delicious!!

We had a delicious dinner! Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay, seafood parma appetizer, yummy house dressing and excellent entrees! Very friendly and efficient waitstaff, too!

An amazing dinner with friends! We almost ordered 5 entrees for 4 of us because we couldn’t narrow down what we wanted to try. We ended up ordering the duck, the rabbit, veal with crabmeat ravioli and crab cakes. Everything we had was phenomenal and the prices were reasonable. I’ve paid way more for worse. The portions were large and the flavor was amazing!! You can’t go wrong by choosing this for an evening out or a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent food-- and service!

Had one of the BEST meals I’ve had in a long time at Restaurant Cypress! Lobster ravioli was divine; Meliton, shrimp and crab soup was awesome and my steak was PERFECT! Not to mention the service and atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely perfect meal. There wasn't one thing that wasn't perfect.

The best I can say is that it was ok. Nothing memorable, in fact I already forgot where the restaurant is ! Won’t be back as there are too many memorable restaurants around . May be ok for lunch, but dinner , forget it .

One of our neighborhood favorites, they never disappoint.

Very good, quiet place. Parking lot is odd. Scallops with risotto was very very good. Definitely not a late dinner kind of place.

Good food.Very nice atmosphere can improve with the service ( missing water breat and the cafe never came I not sure who was in charge with our table )but they try .they need a manager who can orchestrated a Saturday night service.

Really good food!

In a city (New Orleans) known for excellent food, this suburban restaurant falls short. The food was average although the presentation was very nice. The service was slow even though there were not many patrons at the time. Nothing special and not worth the price.
