Chase was a great server. Recommended the lobster Mac & cheese and it was well worth it! We'll definitely be back for our anniversary. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection. My God my mouth is watering as I speak. I have to end the review now.
Something has changed. I can't quite put my finger on it. The vibe was different. Especially for a Friday evening. The food was just not the high standard that I'm used to getting. Was overall disappointing. Server was polite and kind. I like to have a dining experience when I go to a higher end restaurant and it just was not there.
The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The wine was excellent. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.
The experience was great! We had attended a few of these wine parings in the past at Ruth's and always had a private table. This time we were seated with two other couples. At first we were all questioning why we were seated with strangers and a bit irritated. By the end of dinner we were all laughing and had enjoyed each other's company immensely! It had become my husband and I's favorite wine pairing event. I hope we are seated with strangers again at the next one!
Overall great experience except our steaks were switched. My husband and I ordered 11 oz and another guest ordered an 8 oz and they were switched and we split the 8 oz and paid for the 11 oz.
Discounted appetizers during happy hour. They also have a filet with jumbo shrimp during happy hour for $44.00. The lobster mac and cheese is delicious. A great way to try Ruth's at a discounted price.

We arrived, just two of us, when the restaurant was quite empty, but we were seated directly adjacent to heavy foot traffic, staff and customers moving past us constantly. It made for a difficult dining experience trying to have a pleasant conversation. We noted all of the customers seated after us, one and two parties were seated comfortably away from the foot traffic. By the time we left, there were many people, but none in the awful location we had been placed. We have been to this restaurant quite a few times, and more times than not we are seated in high traffic areas when there are better tables available. This time was particularly annoying since there was an abundance of good tables. The food and service were good, but the table location was disappointing. On one prior occasion we asked to be moved, and it was an uncomfortable situation. As much as we like the food, we find this practice so annoying that we will probably dine there much less in the future.
Chris is an excellent waiter. Everything we ordered was excellent. Steak / garlic mashed potatoes / Caesar salad / crab cakes / Brussels w/bacon -w- maple flavoring / espresso martini. All excellent!!
We had one of the most disappointing dining experiences ever with our party of three. One guest's rare steak was only seared on one side, completely unseasoned, and his lobster mac & cheese was nothing more than thawed chopped lobster tossed on top. I ordered a steak with a chopped salad and specifically asked for the dressing on the side (the waiter even repeated it back). Instead, it arrived with no dressing, and after waiting 12 minutes to flag the waiter down, he brushed it off by claiming he thought I ordered “no dressing.” Another guest's Garlic Crusted Sea Bass had a strong ammonia odor — clearly spoiled. After another long wait to flag the server, she replaced it with the stuffed chicken, which was dry, overcooked, stuffing was curdled and poorly executed. The “complimentary” shrimp cocktail served in the meantime still had the vein intact, so it went untouched. The waiter never checked on us, and every request took far too long. The manager came over with a half-hearted, “We're sorry for the fish.” This was supposed to be a birthday dinner, but we declined the dessert since the night was already ruined. Despite serving spoiled fish, nothing was taken off the bill. For Ruth's reputation and price point, this was a failure on every level — food, service, and management. We left frustrated and will not return.

Ruth's Chris is always our restaurant of choice for special celebrations. We found the steak not to be the quality expected for Ruth's Chris. While the flavor was there, the meat was a bit tougher than the past times we have dined there. Normally, it is so tender a steak knife isn't' needed. That wasn't the case this time. All other dishes were as expected.
