I love the vibe in this place.
I highly recommend Spitale's Deli. I had a Muffaletta sandwich, which was great, but the service was even better. The chef, who is a member of the ownership family, makes you feel like a part of the family. The decor, lighting, and overall ambiance are very welcoming.
Everyone who came through the door was welcomed and treated the same as if they were part of the family.

Was shopping nearby and looking for lunch. Spitdale’s came up, and since we felt in the mood for a sandwich we stopped by. Counter service spot with a bar area up front and some diner tables behind. Muffuletta was delicious along with all the other sandwiches. Unexpectedly probably the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend swinging by if in the area.

Just went for the first time to get a muffaletta because some friends said it was great. Well l have to agree. The bread was just the right texture not to dry and not to moist and the meats. cheese and olive salad was spot on. l will most definitely will be back to try more on the menu,

Every visit to this deli leaves me impressed and looking forward to my next meal.

I spoke with the manager about an issue with an order through Uber Eats. Instead of listening to me speak, he continuously interrupted me, condescended me, and talked over me. I could not get one sentence out without him talking over me. Not one. I told him I know he can’t address my grievance because it was a third party delivery service but I was trying to communicate to him that it looks bad on his brand to offer promotional discounts that then disappear at checkout. He hung up on me. What a guy.I won’t be ordering from them again. Learn how to talk to customers, Mr Manager. I was trying to give them a heads up that they should get with Uber Eats and iron out their promotional deals, and instead he just was rude and condescending. I’m an Italian American who speaks Italian. I really wanted to like this place. I’ll be going to Francesca instead. They understand what good customer service is.Edit: I got the $9.30 discount in the end because I spent an entire hour with Uber’s support team. They were helpful and courteous, unlike Mr. Wise Guy.Happy Memorial Day to you too. Food was good by the way. Maybe tell that manager he shouldn’t take phone calls any more if he can’t be polite to customers that have an issue with their order. Delicious chicken parm sandwich. Boudon egg rolls were on point. I highly recommend this joint.
