First time visiting. I am sorry to have missed out on decent food and friendly people for so long. I had the chef salad and would recommend it. It was a large salad and what you would expect. We split an order of onion rings that were hand cut and homemade. Very good. Not being a regular I was impressed on how friendly everyone was to us making us feel welcomed. I will back soon.

Just came out of the restaurant. Ordered a shrimp poor boy and it was great. It had plenty of shrimp and the shrimp were seasoned perfectly. I will be back.

I love the vibe in this place. I highly recommend Spitale's Deli. I had a Muffaletta sandwich, which was great, but the service was even better. The chef, who is a member of the ownership family, makes you feel like a part of the family. The decor, lighting, and overall ambiance are very welcoming. Everyone who came through the door was welcomed and treated the same as if they were part of the family.

Was shopping nearby and looking for lunch. Spitdale’s came up, and since we felt in the mood for a sandwich we stopped by. Counter service spot with a bar area up front and some diner tables behind. Muffuletta was delicious along with all the other sandwiches. Unexpectedly probably the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend swinging by if in the area.

Just went for the first time to get a muffaletta because some friends said it was great. Well l have to agree. The bread was just the right texture not to dry and not to moist and the meats. cheese and olive salad was spot on. l will most definitely will be back to try more on the menu,
