A great place, with great people, caring about their locals is something I witnessed a couple weeks ago. They allowed for a fundraiser to be set up for a patron dealing with a bout of cancer. It was a wonderful time and that speaks volumes about this establishment. More places should take note of this place and it's employees and owners. They give clearly give back what they put in when it comes to work, dedication, and drive.
A cool place to go w/$$$. Weekend and Holidays. Very friendly clientele and staff. The place itself has been around what seems as forever. Known for Crayfish parties and "Live" Bands on weekends. On West Napoleon (off southeast corner of Transcontinental Dr.)
I had a very pleasant evening there a couple of weeks ago. Very friendly crowd, and very pleasant bar tender (bar maid). I had a good beer that was new to me, Yuengling Black and Tan Dark-pBrewed Porter & Premium Beer. I am especially fond of Porter, so I was very happy that the barkeep could serve it to me just the way I like it, even though it took some extra effort on her part.
