Every time we visit the New Orleans area, we look for a new restaurant to try apart from the same old "tourist" places.
We happened upon Freakshake Cafe tonight. The Muffaletta and Po' Boys were delicious (especially the Italian Beef) and the portion sizes are HUGE (Get the small, trust me!) We even treated ourselves to some Freakshakes. (If you're into over the top dessert experiences, this is definitely for you.)

The milkshake was good, but it was very warm in the place so the ice cream melted very fast causing the milkshake to be like soup. It's a cute place. Just wish it would of been cooler in the cafe.
The Freakshake Cafe/New Orleans Muffuletta Company is a great small business serving delicious food. Their pizzas are wonderful, and their muffuletta is a standout dish. The staff provides fantastic service, making it a must-visit spot. However, be aware that their hours on Google Maps may not be up-to-date.
