Huge chunk of plastic in my potato salad. Miscommunication mostly on their end with my to-go order that left me waiting for an extra 10 minutes for food that was just sitting in the warmer the entire time. Giving two stars because besides my plastic potato salad and dry brisket the rest of the food was okay.

The last place we stopped to eat before heading back to California... Was definately worth it and Brittany our server was the best . thank you for a good meal

I recently hosted a fantasy football draft at the Severn location. We had initially told them we had 12 of us but it ended up being more like 16. The staff was so accommodating. The entire service team lead by Heather really made our experience a good one. We had so much other stuff going on with the draft and they easily worked around it. Everyone I spoke with at our draft said that the experience was great and the food was pretty damn good as well. We hope to return next year for our draft again. But I know many of us will return before then for lunch or dinner.

Used VooDoo in Metairie for a large catering order yesterday for some of our VIP's. Our order was perfect. The gentleman Derrick who delivered it was actually a few minutes early (amazing) and was very professional. He set up everything and all of our clients were totally impressed with the food and service. We will be ordering again very soon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Tried this place again after a poor experience last year. We got in late on Tuesday night and ordered room service from them really because it was close to the hotel and we were starving. The food was delivered fast, hot and fresh and i was actually surprised. Last night we decided to go to sit at the bar with a couple of my friends and met Heather. She is an excellent bartender !!!. The room service food was so much improved from my last visit that I tried it again., I ordered the giant pork sandwich (wasnt on special that day but they gave it for me anyway). Best BBQ I've had since we worked in Memphis three years ago. Great food, Great service, Great cocktails. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is in Metarie.

The service was awful and if you are looking for real bbq this ain't it. Mine was over-sauced, dry and burnt.
Small but quaint place. Food was very good. First time eating Fried Gator. It was tender and tasty. Plentiful plate and very reasonable priced. Heather was very friendly and provided the best service anywhere I've been all week! Thank you Heather!!

Father's Day visit and very disappointing experience! Waitress was nice but when the food arrived my sister order was incomplete and mines was completely wrong! The Shrimp my sister ordered was hard crust covered over a tiny Shrimp! I received the same Shrimp order although I ordered Pulled Pork on Brioche roll! My husband order was correct but not so tasty! It was a mess! We eat out occasionally but have never eaten at VooDoo BBQ and Grill.....and I guarantee you we will never eat here again!😱 👎

Voo Doo was very disappointing. We should have know better when we walked in and there was only one other person dining at dinner time. ( it was a Tuesday night. We tried to go next door to Out Back but it was crowded) I had'nt been there in a long time but I remember it being pretty good. The food was subpar and not even warm. The service was just as bad. The waitress was not attentive and we had to get up and ask for everything we needed, even though we were the only people in there after the other person left. Save yourself a trip and money and skip VooDoo.
