Nice little sushi place. Pricey for the portions. Portions are very small, the presentation on the sushi was plain. Single sushi orders had a better presentation. The rice bowls had a good portion and presentation. Everything we tried was very good. The spicy sushi we tried was not at all spicy but was good. The salmon belly was really good and I recommend this highly. I was not highly impressed with the whole experience because I left hungry and would not return here for a second trip. The sushi portions are very small.

When I stated that everything from start to finish was WOW, it was literally that darn good!If you haven't yet, you gotta swing by this place!1. Crispy Rice4 pieces of fried sushi rice with a choice of salmon, tuna or both. Garnished with garlic almond chili oil, spicy kewpie, unagi sauce, and sprouts.2. Kurobuta Pork Ribs3 ribs with sweet thai glaze.3. Tako-yaki4-pcs - fried octopus balls w/ katsu and kewpie sauce, bonito flakes.4. Came in one night rather on the late side, they were getting ready to close shop but they let me sit down and eat! That was very nice of them! The sushi was amazing and even the Chicken teriyaki bowl that I had was very delicious!

The Omakase Japanese style raging in places like NYC and LA now has a bastion here in the provinces, in a stylish location next to Whole Foods in Metairie. Great had rolls, quality fish and Japanese food favorites executed with style and competence. Good to see this style of Japanese cuisine finding roots here at home.
The Chef has extensive experience in the art and is able to share his talent through a very creative menu, offering truly rare and hard to find delicacies of the highest quality. No shortcuts here and the preparation is flawless.

Phenomenal experience. Came on a busy weeknight and were seated promptly. We ordered drinks and food, but when the bar was behind on prepping drinks, our server brought us soup on the house.The drinks were delicious, and the food is incredibly fresh.
