Best Ice cream

Hello, This location has the absolute worse customer servicer ever!! In the past 2 months I have had to go to this Dairy Queen the employees have so rude and the food is never ready I always have to wait 30+ minutes. This is completely unacceptable.

I went to Dairy Queen in Minden and got a banana split that does not come with nuts, surprisingly. I asked them to add chopped nuts. Jennifer said we don't have chopped nuts, only peanuts with the hull on it and pecans. I said add pecans because I don't want trash from the peanuts in my ice cream. The little cup was so small it looks like the cup that you get bbq sauce in with a to go order. The cup was not even full of nuts. Then it was going to be extra for extra pecans. Jennifer rudely stated this is what we have always given and its been this way for years. She took my card and left it in the machine fro someone else to complete my transaction. Then I asked to buy a cup of ice and the manager said he could not give me a cup of ice unless I paid the regular price of a drink. Customer service was through the floor.

I got the peanut butter parfait. The ice cream tasted good but was impossible to find between being melted and there being way too much fudge. The peanuts still had their hulls making it a must to floss afterwards. It wasn't my favorite and I would probably never order this again

Parking: There's only about four slots and the drive thru runs right between. Be careful walking to the entrance.

Wheelchair accessibility: I wouldn't recommend because of the parking and there's a table situated right beside the entrance making it difficult to have the room to maneuver a wheelchair without assistance.

They open at 10:45am but since the worker is behind I can’t get a drink!! Whatever y’all lost my business for GOOD and wasn’t like the worker was friendly like it’s my problem you can’t get to work on time and open on time ?

Got a Blizzard from the drive through window. They have the best ice cream around.

My local DQ I’m just gonna go ahead and throw it out there probably the best hamburger on a consistent basis in town. I don’t give me wrong. There’s places that make a mean burger they are locally owned not a chain. DQ even though it is locally owned is a chain so you gotta count out the mom and pop eateries. Minden DQ has THE BEST service. Those people are always ON POINT when it comes to catering to their customers. I wish the location was closer to me BUT I also wouldn’t want them to move just bc there is a consistently to where it’s at. I could leave for years and come back and the DQ will still be there. Great food. Great service. I wish the restaurant would upgrade but that takes $$$. Keep up the good job.
