We are on our way home to Texas and really did not want another fast food meal. We found Jean’s Diner and it was the best home cooking we’ve had in ages!!! I highly recommend stopping by and having a delicious meal.
Just wish they'd update their menu/ hours etc online. Also would like for there to be a set menu lunch special for eachday that coordinates with the menu sheet that they pass out. It's frustrating to have to call everyday to find out what's really on the menu for the day and be ready for a certain dish then to be dissapointed that they don't have it that day. Minden is definitely lacking in good places to eat. This place stands out as a jewel to get great country food.My wife ordered the baked chicken and I went for the smothered pork chop with greens and dressing. We thoroughly enjoyed it.We will definitely be back to get more of this great food!
