Cotton – A True Gem in Monroe!
While visiting Monroe, I had the pleasure of dining at Cotton, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! I ordered the jalapeño deviled eggs and red beans and rice, and both dishes were absolutely delicious, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and served in generous portions.
The service was excellent, with a friendly and attentive team that went above and beyond. The servers and host not only made sure my meal was perfect but also took the time to share recommendations for local places to visit, from kid-friendly spots and historic sites to great options for nightlife.
Cotton is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel like part of the community, even if you’re visiting. I highly recommend stopping by for amazing food, welcoming service, and true Southern hospitality! 🍽✨

The roast beef po boy was disgusting. Does the person who fries the fries have an iodine deficiency? The fries were way to seasoned and the au jus sauce also way to salty. I didn’t get the Brussel sprouts I asked for as an additional side item be sure to double check your to go orders.

In town for a couple of days of business. Tired so decided to door dash and saw Restaurant Cotton rated highly on Yelp. Got the meatloaf, deviled eggs, and biscuits. All of them hit, no misses. Meatloaf is dense but not dry with a little spice. Some of the best deviled eggs, with a nice fried chicken skin, pickle and hot sauce kicker. Scratch biscuits were so good. The cane butter and whatever seasonal jelly was amazing. Eat here if you are in town.
