My family calls this, "crack chicken" and they have not failed us yet. I fell in love with the location in Natchitoches and didn't think the Monroe location would be as good. The chicken has always been fresh and the seasoning has a slight spice to it that's pleasant and not too overpowering. I don't visit the Southside often, but I definitely stop here whenever I do.

The only thing good here is the chicken. Drive thru wait time is 30 to 40 mins. The slowest fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. Almost make you not wanna go back. We pulled up at 1:27.. it’s 2:03 and we still in line.

...need new cooks and customer service...chicken is horrible, fries not done...it's either over cooked or under cook, way too salty...salty is not season.
I haven't eaten here since 2008. We were driving from Atlanta to Shreveport for a wedding and stopped for gas at the Sam's Club in Monroe. We hadn't eaten, so my wife mentioned getting chicken from Southern Classic.It brought back memories for sure. The wait was longer that most places, but it wasn't terribly bad. The only real downside was they forgot the jalapeno pepper my wife ordered. Check your bags before you leave!
