The coffee is great. Expensive but great. The seating is not comfortable. I was hoping there would be a nice big cushioned area but it’s just the small metal chairs that don’t allow for anyone with hips.

Was in the area for business and found this place so decided to give it a try. It was the highlight of every morning that I was there. Easy to get to, friendly staff in the morning and amazing coffee. The place is cozy and inviting if you want to spend some time there working or catching up with a friend. I had "The Standard" hot latte and it was amazing - my go to every day. I went one day during the evening and the evening staff was not as friendly as the morning staff, so shoutout to the morning staff. I will definitely visit again when I am in town. Oh, and I also bought some of their coffee beans - great roast.

The girls working were SO polite, understandable, and accommodating when I explained I have celiac disease. The coffee tasted amazing, it’s a clean environment, and the service was great. I’ll be a regular there from now on.

I’ve been to this coffee shop a couple of times and I’ve had a good experience with the food and the coffee. Although, I’ve had an uncomfortable experience with the front of house especially. Every time I’ve walked up to the bar (no signs to let you know where to order or really what to do when you come in) I’ve always been greeted with a poor attitude. They don’t seem to have any costumer service whatsoever. Myself and others I’ve spoken to about the restaurant can mutually agree that the bar staff is off putting and come off as condescending. When I come up to order I often feel unwelcome and unwanted, this feeling extends to the others I have spoken to about Standard Coffee. The kind folks bring the food are absolutely excellent. Front of house workers should be the face of the restaurant and for the back of house to be rarely seen, but be more courteous and welcoming, shows a stark disparity in levels of customer service between the two.

I've been to this location for lunch twice and each time the food was great. This most recent time the wait was a little longer than expected considering I called in prior, but it was also lunch time, so that's to be expected. The service is always nice. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen this recent time! I had to get it to-go (not the restaurants fault) and I greatly appreciated the thought put into even to-go orders. Will be back!

Nice coffee shop and cafe. Very much feels like a downtown type of place versus just a friendly local out of the way sort of place. Their breakfast food options were very limited (love a good bagel but they mainly had pastries and muffins) but seems they open their kitchen for lunch and offer more food options then.4 starts in lieu of 5 isn't about the location or price....it's more just that their lattes did not taste very good. Seems they do a lot of things well but a good hot latte is not one of them.They are seemingly frequented by what seems like folks from their downtown and maybe they just accept this as good coffee. I would probably recommend other local options if ambiance is not 90%+ of what you're looking for.
