The service was fast and the chicken was hot. The inside has about 10-12 tables and booths. The women's bathroom needed paper towels and the toilet tank cover was on the floor.
I came in and was immediately greeted by Whitman, who was working at the front counter. His deep voice was so comforting, and he was able to help me in a dilemma trying to feed a big family on a small budget. All of our food was fresh and tasted delicious as I expected.
I know Popeye’s are historically slow, and arriving at the lunch rush made it even worse. Waited 40 minutes for our food as did everyone else who made the mistake of coming inside. Saw multiple drivers in the drive thru come back inside to get items that were missed after getting their food—which they also waited an extended amount of time.
