This place is conveniently close to my house, and their chicken is beyond this world. The coconut shimp is delicious as well. I absolutely love the coconut mojito, it is both yummy and refreshing.

I had the jerk chicken, peas and rice and cabbage. I was totally disappointed in the food. The young lady at the register was warm and friendly but with food like this this place won't make it.

The best Jamaican restaunt in the area! However, I have noticed that the food quality is getting low. My first experience with the mac n cheese was great, but, they switch to a stove top version and it is severly lacking. I am disapointed. Other than that, the other menu options are tasty and enjoyable. This the only place I would recommend for Jamican food in the area.

Everything thing was perfect. Food, drinks and service left nothing to be desired. It's a must try and try again.

Loved the vibe and the ascetic. The food was wonderful and had good heat to it. Would definitely come back.

We enjoyed visiting Algiers Point and finding this spot for a casual dinner. The Mac and cheese and festival were good!

I recently visited this spot and ordered the oxtails, mixed vegetables, jasmine rice, and their house-made fruit punch. The juice was very good—refreshing and flavorful. However, the rest of the meal was disappointing.
The oxtails were served at room temperature, had a small portion size, and were covered in a tomato-based gravy that wasn’t what I expected. Both the rice and mixed vegetables were cold, which really affected the overall meal experience.
On a positive note, I did enjoy the curry chicken patty—it was served hot and tasted great.
While the atmosphere was pleasant and the waiter was friendly, the service was slow. It took quite a while to receive both our food and our tickets, even though there was only one other party dining in at the time.
Unfortunately, based on the quality and temperature of the food—especially for the price—I won’t be returning.

Definitely NOT authentic Jamaican food. Staffing and supply issues were evident. Put a sign on the door by the parking lot letting people know that only the front entrance is open.

If I am trying a new restaurant and it dead that's a red flag to me..so, I wondered why it was so dead on a Saturday afternoon, well they didn't have majority of the dishes that they're known for, and the drink machine was down. I have no clue what management is doing but, that's not a good look. Definitely not stepping foot in that location.

We enjoyed our lunch at 14 Parishes Jamaican Restaurant at Algiers Point. The atmosphere has a definite Jamaican flair, with a nice collection of local Jamaican artwork. The service was friendly but not overly attentive. They have a nice selection of items on the menu and the food we had was very tasty.

Loving on the Westbank of New Orleans. I was excited that a new restaurant opened in Algiers Point. Since it was our 33rd Wedding anniversary, I could not think of a better place eat! It was easy parking and they had a wheelchair ramp and stairs. We were greeted upon entering and shown to our table. Our server took our drink order and she gave ud our menu and said she would give us time to decide what we wanted. We ordered, and the food arrived in no time. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious. I loved the ambiance made me feel like I was in Jamaica. The restrooms were clean and well supplied. I highly recommend 14 Parishes.
