Over-priced bland food. Doesn’t taste like authentic Jamaican food. Unprofessional staff. Don’t waste your time or money.

Food was good but I’m
Jamaican so I’m biased that it’s good nor great! The prices are the reason I can’t return. $30 for. Plate of oxtail with no rice and peas….like wth.
I was asked what two sides I wanted and I said plantains and Mac and cheese casue rice and peas is a given to us: that’s not a side. That’s literally what makes it a full meal is oxtail and rice and peas. Paid $55 for an oxtail leak and a serving of jerk chicken then the machine made me rip where the min tip was 18%. 18% tip to take my to go order!!!! Eating out has gotten insane! Likes it but won’t redo. Can’t do $66 for some oxtail a few pieces of fry plantains and a two pieces of jerk
Chicken. Nope!

You know when you bbq chicken and then put it in the fridge and then 2 days later you heat it up and it’s just not nearly as good. This is what the jerk chicken tasted like today. There was minimal flavor and the meat was very dry.

I went to this place yesterday for my husband's birthday, and every thing we had on the menu was great. The service from our server GIGi was phenomenal as well. This morning I woke up and ate some of the leftovers and they still was amazing. My 16 yr daughter who didnt accompany us had the opportunity to eat some of the leftovers and after eating she asked can yall please take me to this place. I told my husband the fried cauliflower was something I didnt know I needed in my life. But all the food was amazing. We definitely will be back!

14 Parrishes Jamaican Restaurant on Oak Street is my go to restaurant when I want to eat a delicious plate of oxtails in NOLA (Jamaican living in south Florida woman). The owner/chef is definitely trained, his sauces and attention to quality meats is apparent in every dish we have tried. The jerk chicken & fish appetizer on tostones are super delicious too & fresh. Although the food out of the kitchen is a bit slow, it’s definitely worth the wait. In the words of my beautiful Jamaican culture “good things come to those who wait!” So bring a little bit of patience, a hunger belly and get ready to taste some of the most delicious & elevated Jamaica cuisine in New Orleans.

Drinks are amazing! Food is so good. I don’t eat Jerk many places but this was yummy the jerk pork! Brown stew was out of this world and our waiter was nice. Wasn’t crowded and had open seating! We will be back, thanks for having us ❤️❤️

Don’t order 30 min before close or you’ll get lukewarm buffet food for $50. Restaurants complain about the summer slow-down but when locals try to show up and get shafted it’s pretty demoralizing. I feel like I just paid a premium to take your leftovers away for you.

I was very hopeful but left very disappointed. Friday lunch time and half the items on the menu were unavailable. 60.00 for fish? No chicken curry in a Jamaican restaurant. It took forever to get just a simple meat patty. It’s summer in New Orleans and business is slow but you should at least try for the locals.

Two waitresses tonight were very rude and petty . Not sure what personal issues they have but it was very unprofessional. Food great shout out to the chef !! Only reason I’m coming back 😂

They were out of Redsnapper and they did not say anything about being out of the RedSnapper until I ordered the Red snapper.... The wings were fried extremely hard and barely seasoned... Will not being going back...

The jerk chicken was more like decent roasted chicken with a little jerk sauce on the side. The best thing on the menu is the cabbage.
