21st Amendment Bar at La Louisiane

We came here for a cocktail after dinner elsewhere on a weeknight… They were moderately busy and the band was setting up, but while we were there they didn’t play. The cocktail list is decent and they make all cocktails fresh. Drinks were decent, so was the vibe. Definitely a nice, quaint spot to grab a cocktail.

Must visit if you enjoy jazz. Great music and vibes. It’s small bar, so seating is limited and gets crowded soon. Shoutout to Brian, the bartender. Not only does he make great cocktails, he’s the sweetest and keeps refilling water without being asked to make sure you are hydrated and having a good time. We plan to visit again.

We stopped by here during tales of the cocktail for a tasting event but we finally made it back by to try their regular cocktail menu and oh my god. It’s amazing. It’s small, you may walk right past it but DONT. It’s so worth the stop! Amy was an incredibly fun bartender, the live music was divine, and the cocktails were UNPARALLELED. I almost don’t want to rave too much about this place because I don’t want to not be able to get in, but I just can’t keep it to myself.

We stayed in the French Quarter for new year’s and this bar never disappointed, we ended up here every night. Drinks are perfect, staff is friendly, and the music was great. Highly recommend.
