First, don't believe the menu on Open Table. There are several items shown that do not exist on the menu at the restaurant, which caused us to sour on the place to start. My wife was very much looking forward to oysters, which they didn't have, which was disappointing. The food we did have, however, was spectacular. The shrimp and grits was excellent, the Gulf fish was really good, and the gumbo was some of the best we had on our trip (we're not native to NOLA). I would eat here again, but I'd temper my expectations based on the menu here.
I really loved the decor but I was very disappointed oysters wasn't available that is really the reason I wanted to check out the restaurant! Maybe next time
Mother's Day Dinner and the whole restaurant was a vibe. Let's talk about the food. Everything was hot when it came out to the table and delicious. Will definitely be returning!
We might have had an exception to their normal service but we were forgotten not once, which I could overlook, but twice. The first time she was extremely apologetic as we sat there for 10 minutes after her taking our drink order before one out of three came. We had to remind her of the others which she brought immediately. Then we ordered a second drink before our food came and our waitress brought it over after we were done with our meal. And we were done for at least 5 minutes; maybe longer. This time she didn't even say anything. The shrimp Benedict was awesome though!!
Great look ,however the food selection was minimum but not in stock .Waited 1 hour for entree or more .Food was cold to luke warm .
Beautiful atmosphere. Food was wonderful and perfectly portioned. The grilled chicken as a salad topper was juicy and delicious. Service was a little slow but our server was kind and very sweet.
The short ribs & the chicken were delicious but the true star was the crawfish dip!! We went for my birthday on a recommendation & it was truly a delightful dinner experience. Our server, the bartender, and the rest of the staff were all very nice and made the evening very pleasant. We will definitely be coming back, and with more people next time :)!
Really really good! We had the gumbo with potato salad instead of rice, sound's weird, but it was really good. I also had the shrimp tacos, very good! a little difficult to eat, but very good! Service was excellent as well, we will be back!
The hostess made inappropriate comments. The server was nice enough but kept forgetting things and had to be asked several times. The food did not taste good; specifically, the crawfish omelette was chewy and smelled bad. We had to make a reservation for Saturday brunch but the restaurant was mostly empty at 11AM (our time slot) & many tables were left dirty from previous guests.
We ordered the bacon cheeseburger, seared scallops, and cracklins. The burger was not cooked to the level requested and had to be sent back. The scallops, fries, and cracklins were all covered in a Cajun spice. Just dumped on top, seems like lazy cooking

The whole experience was amazing. The service excellent, the place really nice and my brunch was super delicious. I had shrimp with grits. I strongly recommend this place
It was Valentine's weekend and my wife ordered the Butternut Squash Gnocchi. I ordered the Braised Beef Short Rib with the Crawfish Dip Appetizer. We didn't order any drinks, just the water brought by the host. The waiter came back and said they don't have squash or any other vegetable substitute so my wife changed it to the Beer Brined Chicken Breast. The Crawfish appetizer was amazing, even though they served it with possibly store bought tortilla chips instead of the crostinis as advertised. We made a reservation because it was Saturday night but the place seemed empty aside from the Host. After about 20 minutes our food was brought out, and my wife had a nicely fried piece of chicken laying on top of a cold puree soup. She noted the chicken tasted good and she also found a few okra logs in the bottom of the puddle-no kale chips as advertised. My short rib for the description though, it was neatly plated and served with mashed potatoes and charred carrots. The beef fell off the bone and had good taste, but the mash was lukewarm and in need of a pinch of salt. Decorations were definitely a looking point for the people walking by and overall we enjoyed ourselves. The total bill was $104 including the tip.
We call this our hidden gem in the Quarter. Food, drinks, and service are always great. It is our go-to when we are in the area and just want a place to pop in for a quick bite.
Horrible, horrible experience. First time in New Orleans and walked out the restaurant after waiting an hour for the appetizer. People were lining up to complain about service and finally I couldn't take it anymore. Can't say much about the food but the water was thirst quenching as someone stuck on an island. Try anywhere else.
1. Drinks were late to serve. I had to ask for the ETA. 2. Appetizer and entrees arrived all together at the same time. 3. We were never checked again on drinks. 4. I had to get up from the table to go get my check and pay 5. No toilet paper in women's bathroom 6. They did apologize for the poor service at the end
