Wow! I'm so happy that I chose to eat here. My server, Jenna, is phenomenal. The shrimp and grits are delicious. And their sazerac's perfection. I will return. Kudos to the entire staff on a job well done.

We enjoyed hanging out at 55 Fahrenheit as we watched the ncaa basketball championships. Tvs everywhere and a large projector and screen to boot. Service was prompt even though they were slammed and the food was good. If my pecan pie was warm it would have just topped it all off. Beer is cheap mixed drinks and wine are not.. but that's the game.

The lobby bar at the a Marriott Hotel on Canal Street is called 55 Fahrenheit and is a cool spot to spend a little time. Hotel bars are great spots to meet people and generally are a lot of fun. The drinks are reasonable, especially for a hotel bar. The food is good and the service is friendly and attentive.

Our first cocktail was great then we were ignored by the waitress when shifts changed. I called her over two times and she said in a minute but waited on 6 different tables - who all came in well after I requested service. Very disappointed after paying $20 for a drink but I guess we are only allowed one!?!?

We popped into this hotel lobby bar (located inside the Marriott) to have a night cap before strolling back to our hotel across the street. It was a nice change up — the vibe was bright and neutral. The bartenders were amazing and engaging. We chatted about the unique drink menu and eventually settled on a bourbon based concoction and my old faithful, an espresso martini.Couldn’t have asked for a better experience to wrap the night up. And fun fact: they have Captain Morgan, Don Julio, Kettle One and Bulliet Bourbon on tap!
