Acme was referred to me by my Uber driver when I arrived in NoLa. As a life long resident, he assured me the food would be excellent and I was not disappointed. The Chargrilled Oysters were excellent! I sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and shared her favorite menu items. Was a great lunch upon arrival!
I'm sooooo glad we listened to our Uber driver instead of chap gpt and came here. It was close to our hotel and that helped in that decision too. I was honestly dreading a bit about food in New Orleans. My first time here, and I knew food would be good.... But would also be rich, dense, fatty, etc. We ordered chargrilled oysters because that's what you're supposed to do. Not my fave. Acme is one of my favorite places to go in New Orleans. I am In love with there chargrilled oysters. They are saturated in herbs butter sauce. I love the cheese that they put on tops so delicious!!! Squeeze a little lemon and protection. The bread is also good. I recommend this place!!!
