We had another great experience last night. Scott was amazing! Great food and excellent service. It was definitely worth the wait.

Our family has been coming to Adolfo for several years. Today we ordered the same dish as we always have, stuffed flounder with shrimp and crab. After two forkfulls, I sent it back. My husband ate half of his and left it. What was the problem? It was a pile of mush. Tiny shrimps, soft greasy fish, and a lot of filling like stuffing and smothered with cheese and cream. Not to mention the bread was wet. They said it was just their liquid butter. I would never be writing this review but when the waitress presented a bill for $80, I decided to post my comments. We told him that we would pay for one entree. We will never go back.

Dare to open the door and climb the stairs. They put your name on the waiting list with a time to come back.

We were fortunate to get a recommendation to this hidden gem on Frenchman from a local artist. There is literally about ten tables, and they don't take reservations, so I it's recommended to get there when they open. For an appetizer, we ordered the mussels. They were delicious! For entrees, we had the steak special with Ocean Sauce (creole based) and the Veal Ocean (veal, crabmeat, crawfish, and capers) in a croele sauce ---literally couldn't stop eating it! Did not order dessert, but observing from other nearby tables, it looked outstanding! It was one of the top meals we had while visiting! Highly recommend!

What a great find. Small place with a unique menu and excellent food. The lamb was amazing, the seafood sauce a must try. The service was friendly and welcoming. I would try not to miss this one if you are down by Frenchman Street and it's worth a trip there if you aren't.

Absolutely fantastic, would definitely recommend eating here. Everything was top
This place was so yummy I am desperate to go back. I will spend every cent I have on Adolfo’s. This was the experience of a lifetime. So delicious it made me want to burn down an Olive Garden for crimes against Italian cuisine.

We ordered side salads, steak Scotty, Veal Parmesan, and a side of pasta.Steak Scotty:A 16 oz NY strip with a mushroom sauce. It was ordered rare but served medium. No go.Veal Parmesan:A good sized portion of a tender Veal cutlet bread lightly on top. Very tasty veal. However it was smothered under a ¼ thick wad of chewy stringy overly-melted mozzarella and "marinara" sauce. The cheese had been overheated. The protein and liquid in the Mozzarella had separated leaving it rubbery. The marinara sauce on the side of pasta (linguine) and on the Veal Parmesan was merely ground up canned tomatoes. They hadn't bothered to thicken it with tomato paste so the tomato bits and liquid separated. I poured a out ⅛ inch of liquid off my Veal plate when it arrived. The sauce needed seasoning with salt, black pepper, garlic, and a bit of oregano for example as it seemed to be totally unseasoned. The side salad was a plate of mixed greens. I also counted 4 fine wisps of grated carrot mixed in. There was very little non-descript vinaigrette on the salad making it rather dry and flavorless. There were no vegetables (e.g. tomatoes, cucumber, onions, etc.) nor any croutons or cheese.Parmesan cheese was not offered. Our server Scotty was great. The atmosphere was ok.This place is a hard pass due to the low quality food and preparation.Wheelchair accessibility: It's up one flight of stairs from the street. I didn't notice an elevator so call and check first regarding accessibility.
