I'm 50+ years old. Have been to countless restaurants in the US and mexico (Cancun 12 times) and the meal I had tonight was the best I've ever had. The cocktails were great. The service was great. Didn't wait long because somehow we were the only 2 people in the place. It was a Tuesday, and we did have early reservations. (4:30) Not complaining cuz I was able to lie to the wife and tell her I booked the entire restaurant for her. (Yes, she knew I was joking) Now, the food was amazing. I already knew what I was ordering but saw the menu of small plates that wasn't on the menu online and decided to try those after eating a couple of the appetizers. Enjoyed every single thing I tried and after the wife tossed in the towel I still went for the Cantonese fried rice. I thought I was done eating until I was told what was in the dessert. Well worth the stomach cramps I now have as I write this review. Happily people start arriving as we were leaving. I strongly suggest to anyone who spent the time to read all my gibberish and go to this restaurant.........................FYI, this is the first time I've ever felt like I needed to write a review.

This is such a delightful find on Oak St. The menu is a fascinating curated array of flavors from Asia to Europe to South and Central America. Everything is inventively paired and beautifully presented. Most importantly, every dish is delicious. We particularly recommend the redfish with pistachios and the adobo chicken with the most amazing take on fried rice you will ever experience. Cocktails are also well thought out and artfully presented. A mescal offering as well as gin and vodka drinks were balanced, whimsical and worth ordering another round.

We came by for a private Halloween event and it was amazing! We had the bruschetta and a couple cocktails called “Old Wise”. Both were great, we’d be back again if we lived in the area! Hope to visit again soon

My son and I were in New Orleans for the Blues & BBQ fest. We had planned to dine at a famous nearby place on Oak Street, but there was an hour wait for a table. Instead, we chose Aquasanta, and we very happy that we did. Chef Luis' culinary skills thrilled us with one of the best meals we have had in North America. I chose as my entree the redfish -- a generous piece of perfectly grilled fish, covered by an indescribably delicious sauce containing spices, pistachios and just the right amount of heat. My son had the suckling pig, which was very tender and flavorful, and enhanced by a delightfully piquant chili sauce. We also both enjoyed the soup of the day, a memorable legume soup flecked with crunchy smoked and grilled chili shreds -- wow! The service was first-rate; prices were reasonable; ambience upbeat. And Chef Luis worked the tables while we eating like a true professional who was proud of his craft. I will return to this place the next time we are in NOLA

Outstanding Fusion restaurant. Has a Latin American vibe with a New Orleans take on preparation. Had a great duo playing live music when we were there.

We wanted to eat somewhere new (to us), and ended up here solely because it was nearby and it was open on a Monday.
What a happy accident! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Great cocktails, as well.
Really enjoyed ourselves.
The first pic is an appetizer of wonton filled with pork, served on mole sauce. I could have eaten 12 plates, it was so delicious and perfectly balanced. Next pic is ribeye with peppercorn sauce and pomme frites; after that is redfish with pistachio sauce; then a cheeseburger that was very much not just any cheeseburger. Our friend loved it.

A rare and beautiful find! We traveled to New Orleans on holiday from NYC area, and we heard good things about Aguasanta so we decided to give it a try. Best meal we had all week! Flavourful, beautifully presented, with attentive and friendly staff. If we lived nearby we would be here weekly. 10/10. 🙏🏼

Stopped here for early dinner with my wife the other day, spur of the moment, because the place we were going to was closed.
Checks all the boxes.
Intriguing cocktail menu, check. Varied menu, with small and large plates, of different culinary influences, check. Tasted several different dishes, all were delicious and elegantly presented, check. The Tia dumplings with mole sauce , double check! Attentive but not overbearing service, check. Convenient location, check. Live music (2 piece combo), check.
I know August is slow, but there should have been a line out the door. We will definitely be back soon.

Wow! The food was so creative and delicious! The staff is very professional and obviously trying to create a good impression. Everything came out very quickly and all of the dishes were unique and well balanced. The cocktails were also amazing, if a bit small. The prices are in line with the quality and the vibe is very cozy. The experience was amazing and we'll definitely be back to explore the menu further!
